Atalanta have officially announced the termination of their cooperation with coach Rafaele Paladino. The news was made public through an official statement from the Bergamo club, which has decided to end the Italian coach's adventure at the helm of the team.
In the published statement, Atalanta's leaders confirmed that, in addition to Paladino, his closest associates on the technical staff have also left.
" Atalanta BC announces that Rafaele Paladino has been relieved of his duties as First Team coach, along with his closest collaborators, namely Stefano Citerio, Federico Peluso, Fabio Korabi, Nikola Riva, Mattia Casella, Andrea Ramponi and Andrea Berti.

According to reports from Italian media, it was initially thought that the parties would reach an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract, but now the departure has become official. This development paves the way for the appointment of a new coach, while the name of Maurizio Sarri continues to be mentioned as one of the main candidates for the black and blue bench.
The change in leadership also affects the captain of the Albanian National Team, Berat Gjimshiti, who will start the new season under the guidance of a new coach.
Last season was not easy for Atalanta, who faced numerous challenges during the championship. For this reason, the club's leaders seem to have decided to launch a new project to return the team to the highest levels of Italian and European football.
