The Elbasan team has decided to permanently retire the number 27 jersey, as a sign of respect and honor for former footballer Fatjon Bunjaku, who tragically lost his life at the age of 22.
The news was announced through a post on social networks, where the club's leaders emphasize that this decision aims to forever preserve the memory of Bunjak as part of the history and heritage of Elbasan.
According to the club, the retirement of number 27 is a symbolic gesture to honor the contribution and figure of the former player, who will always remain part of the yellow-blue family.
Fatjon Bunjaku lost his life in the early hours of Sunday morning, as a result of a road accident on the Vushtrri-Mitrovicë axis. The event has caused numerous reactions from the sports community, fans, friends and family, who have expressed their condolences for the untimely loss.
Meanwhile, today, family, friends and football fans said their final goodbyes to the 22-year-old.
