Sergio Conceicao has ended his adventure at Al Ittihad, leaving the Saudi club in disappointment. The Portuguese coach, who faced numerous difficulties during the season, has spoken openly about the problems that, according to him, affected the team's performance.
Under the leadership of Conseicao, Albanian national team defender Mario Mitaj also went through a difficult period, remaining out of the team in several matches during the season.
After leaving, the Portuguese coach did not spare criticism of the club, emphasizing that the situation he found was far from the expectations created before signing the contract.
" They told me before I signed with Al Ittihad that I would train a champion team, but when I arrived I found a team full of problems. The season was difficult and the departure of Benzema and Kante affected the team. Al Ittihad is full of organizational, administrative and structural problems ," Conceicao declared.
The coach's statements shed light on the internal challenges the club has gone through during the season, while his departure marks another significant change in the Al Ittihad camp.
