Lecce seems to be ready to add another Albanian player to its squad. After Ylber Ramadani and Medon Berisha, the Italian Serie A club has turned its attention back to Arbër Hoxha, with the aim of strengthening the offensive department for the new season.
According to Italian media reports, Lecce's management are closely monitoring the situation of the Albanian national team winger, who plays for Dinamo Zagreb. Hoxha's name was also discussed during the January transfer window, but at that time the club decided not to take concrete steps towards his transfer.
Interest has returned on the eve of the new season, as Lecce aims to build a competitive team to ensure survival in the Italian football elite for another season.
According to Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old's transfer fee is estimated at around 3 million euros. However, it remains to be seen what price Dinamo Zagreb will ask for to release the Albanian striker, who they transferred in January 2024 from Slaven Belupo for around 1 million euros.
