Elbasan will face BATE Borisov in the first qualifying round of the Conference League, in a duel that on paper seemed one of the most difficult for the yellow-blue team. However, the current form of the Belarusian team suggests that the situation on the field is completely different.
BATE Borisov is going through a deep crisis of results in the domestic championship. In the 14th match of the week, the team was defeated 1-0 at home by FC Gomel, bringing the number of consecutive matches without a win to 12.
BATE's only win this season came on April 5, in the second week of the championship. Since then, the team has failed to return to success, losing ground in the standings.
