Balla and Rama talk about dialogue and reflection, while also mentioning those who have abused power...
After the attacks, lynchings, and pushing protesters towards violence, it appears that Edi Rama has implemented Plan B to quell the protest.
Citizens have been protesting for 33 days and today there are signals that Rama is expected to launch a purge as a maneuver to calm the citizen revolt.
It was the leader of the socialist group, Taulant Balla, who accused some of the protesters of the violence used during the rally, while emphasizing that citizens who protest peacefully should be separated from those who, according to him, have taken the protest hostage.
" How do you think the people are stupid? Albanians recognize the wolf even when it disguises itself as a mother goat, let alone as a flamingo. You can't hide the Taliban's savagery under beautiful pink feathers. The beautiful citizenry of Flamingo Boulevard finally distanced itself from the violence of these political and social scum who took the protest hostage ," Balla writes.
As he then extends the hand of dialogue, Balla declares that they are ready to listen to the concerns of those who abuse the seat of power. So, the "cutting of heads" will likely begin.
" A little more and the time for dialogue with those who had their legitimate reasons to protest will naturally come. From concerns about nature to anger towards those who abuse the trust in the seat of power, our listening and reflection ," Balla says.
Then came a somewhat similar reaction from Prime Minister Rama himself, who after attacking 'violent individuals' speaks of reflection.
" The transition to physical violence is the only thing that can now be produced by the black crust of the heartless losers of Tirana's political-media boulevard, the collectors of criminal precedents and the foreign hands behind them! We still need patience and then it's time for reflection ," Rama writes.
Under the rug, there is talk that Rama is expected to make changes in the government and at other levels of administration, due to the pressure of the protests. Today, signals have been given, as this is expected to be the next move, with the hope that the revolt will die down. Although the citizens have made it clear that there is no dialogue and that the main condition is Rama's departure.
