Ralf Rangnick has definitively rejected the opportunity to join Milan, ending speculation linking him with a managerial or technical role at the Italian club.
According to reports, the Austrian national team coach has told the Red and Blacks that he is not willing to wait any longer for a final decision from the club. This has also led to the eventual demise of Rangnick as Milan's technical director.
Club owner Jerry Cardinal had expressed interest in bringing the German coach into the team's new project, but negotiations never reached a concrete agreement. Faced with this situation, Rangnick has chosen to make a clear decision about his future.
The 67-year-old coach has decided to continue working with the Austrian National Team, believing in the project he has started with the Austrian national team and the long-term objectives he aims to achieve with this team.
Meanwhile, Milan continues to face a period of uncertainty. The lack of a confirmed coach, as well as uncertainties in the management structure, have slowed down planning for next season.
After Rangnik's withdrawal, the red and black leaders are forced to change strategy and focus on other alternatives on the market. Currently, Oliver Glasner is considered one of the most favored candidates to take over the team, while next week is expected to be decisive for determining the new Milan coach.
