Cristiano Ronaldo spoke ahead of Portugal's opening match, which will take place on June 17 against the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Portuguese captain appeared optimistic about the team's performance, emphasizing that the national team is prepared for the challenges that await them.
Despite recent criticism, the 41-year-old stated that he feels in good physical condition and ready to make his contribution on the field of play.

The Portuguese striker admitted that the preparatory phase has been busy, but underlined that friendly matches are not the best indicator of the team's real level.
" It was a pretty good preparation, although tiring. Normally, we wouldn't be at our maximum level for these two friendlies. The most important thing is when things get serious on June 17. Then we'll see who the real champions are ," Ronaldo concluded.
Portugal aims to start its journey in the competition with a victory, while Ronaldo's experience and leadership remain one of the team's main weapons.
