A group of Socialist Party deputies were caught "checking" by some citizens in Strasbourg, playing cards and drinking beers.
As seen in this video published by activist Gent Progni, at the table were the chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, and MPs Arbjan Mazniku, Pirro Vengu, and Evis Kushi.
Citizens approach him and greet him, but when the legislators realized they were being filmed, their behavior changed, and Balla even tried to hide the papers he was holding in his hands.
While the citizens are holding him accountable and talking to him about the protest, Balla starts a conversation with another person at the table.
At the end, as a sign of revolt and protest, citizens sing the protest chorus "Rama in prison, Balla in prison".
Citizen: Good evening, hello, how are you?
Balla: Are you filming us?
Balla: Are you filming us?
Citizen: Yes, of course, we missed seeing you, asking you how you are, what you are doing in Albania.
Citizen: Are you playing cards and enjoying yourself?
Citizen: What are you doing for Albania, where do you live? How is your night going, we want to know too
Citizen: Have you ever heard of a protest taking place in Albania or...?!
Citizen: How come you don't feel like it, since you're right here in front of me (someone is heard telling her to feel like it's hard)
Citizen: Is it hard for me?!
Citizen: You pay with our taxes
Citizen: Let's sing that song, Rama in prison, Balla in prison.
Meanwhile, we remind you that today in Strasbourg, the SP-PD have not found consensus on the joint resolution with the European Parliament. The joint declaration of the Stabilization and Association Committee (or Council) (SAC) is the official document that is approved at the end of periodic meetings between Albania and the European Union.
