Kosovo has started the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the worst way, after being defeated by Switzerland of Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri with a deep score of 4-0. The Helvetic team completed the "poker" in the first half, while the defense of the "Dardans" was almost non-existent, just as the attack "troubled" the Somer goal a little.
Although the presence of Albanian fans in support of the Kosovo national team was large at the "St. Jakob Park" stadium, Franko Foda's national team showed almost nothing.
