Famous Swiss-Italian presenter Michelle Hunziker has spoken about her life journey, about love, motherhood and her relationship with herself, confessing that the most shocking and beautiful moment of her life was the birth of her first daughter at the age of 19.
"I came to Italy and became a mother very early, even though as a girl I thought I would postpone it. It was the best choice of my life," said Hunziker, a mother of three daughters and now a grandmother.
She added that motherhood gave life a new purpose: "You're no longer working just for yourself; you're living for someone who helps you define your direction."
Speaking about love relationships, Hunziker admitted that she believes in "joint journeys" that can have an end:
"Love ends when you're no longer looking in the same direction. It's not a matter of guilt, but the pace of life changes."
At the age of 48, the presenter admitted that she feels good about herself: "I don't always have the perception that I'm beautiful, but now I love myself. It's been a long journey to gain self-esteem."
Hunziker said psychoanalysis has helped her deal with personal trauma and stop “self-sabotage.” She emphasized the importance of forgiveness and simple living, which she says also positively affects cellular health.
As an entrepreneur, she aims to expand her beauty brand Goovi, which combines skincare with a natural lifestyle: “My dream is to make it international.”
Although sought after as a model and brand image, Hunziker remains committed to authenticity: "I've never promoted something I didn't believe in."
And to the inevitable question about cosmetic procedures, she answers flatly: "No, I haven't had a facelift. Today, there are technologies that help you age well with your collagen."
