Kim Kardashian rose to fame thanks to the scandal that erupted from her intimate video and it seems that she always uses this strategy. She has caused controversy on social media again with her company, SKIMS, after launching its newest products, a line of thongs with artificial pubic hair.
While everyone is turning to laser hair removal to remove hair, Kim is making a comeback with thongs.
As noted in her own posts, the line is available in different colors such as red, blue, and brown, and comes in two versions: with straight and curly hair.
"How ridiculous are these?" Kim asked her followers in an Instagram post on October 14, showing samples of the new underwear that quickly went viral.
Meanwhile, on the official SKIMS website, the product is described as the brand's "most daring item yet," while the price reaches 42 euros per pair.
However, despite the price and unusual nature of the product, the thongs sold out in almost all sizes within hours of launch.
Reactions online were mixed. Some fans called the idea "crazy" and "absurd," while others praised it for its originality and Kim's sense of humor.
"Kim Kardashian is going completely crazy with those new underwear," wrote one user on the X platform (formerly Twitter), while another commented:
"Kim can't be serious about this idea."
We remind you that this is not the first time that Kim Kardashian has sparked controversy with SKIMS products.
In July, it introduced a jaw and chin tightening facial wrap, which was described as the brand's "first facial innovation."
Even then, reactions were divided between those who saw it as an unnecessary trend and those who considered it useful for personal care.
