Social networks were shaken yesterday by several threatening messages allegedly sent to former "Big Brother VIP Albania" resident, Antonela Berisha.
The messages, with serious content and ethnically based insults, were allegedly sent by a girl from Kosovo. However, Antonela has stated that these messages are generated with artificial intelligence and has shifted attention to criticizing the media platform JOQ Albania.
In a reaction on Instagram, she accuses JOQ of a deliberate denigrating campaign, writing that this media is corrupt and biased: "In addition to the fact that all of Albania knows that you are sold out, you are also mediocre journalists who do not verify anything before publication."
Antonela emphasizes that she has always felt respected in Kosovo, but according to her, the slander and personal attacks have now crossed all limits. She also publishes a message that she claims was sent to her by a representative of JOQ, who was looking for a "communication channel" to resolve the tensions.
This is not the first time her name has been at the center of controversy. Earlier, she and her sister were involved in a physical altercation with model Klea Prenga. Despite the threatening content of the recent messages, Berisha has focused her public reaction more on the way the event was handled by the media, rather than the content of the threats themselves.
