Famous Italian DJ dies in Ibiza, family blames Spanish law enforcement

A serious and mysterious event has shocked the world of electronic music and public opinion in Italy.

Italian media reports that DJ and producer Michele Noschese, known by the stage name "Godzi", has died under still unclear circumstances in Ibiza, Spain.

The serious incident is said to have occurred during the night between July 18 and 19, and he was only 35 years old.

The news has been confirmed by family members and has spread rapidly on social networks and media outlets specializing in techno music, where many artists and followers have expressed their deep sorrow for the loss of a renowned talent on the international scene.

According to media sources and initial evidence, it is suspected that the Spanish Guardia Civil may have been involved in the incident that led to the DJ's death.

According to one version, the police intervened at a private party organized by Noschese at his home in Ibiza, after complaints about noise from neighbors. There, a physical conflict allegedly occurred between the police and Noschese, who subsequently lost his life.

Sources close to the Spanish authorities have claimed that the death may have been caused by a cardiac arrest after consuming alcohol and narcotic substances, but this remains to be verified.

Giuseppe Noschese, Michele's father, a doctor and former mayor, has filed a lawsuit for intentional homicide against the police with the Spanish prosecutor's office.

In an interview with "La Repubblica", he stated:

"There was a brutal beating by the police. The party ended with a conflict and then the arrest of my son. One of the boys who was at home woke up and saw everything: Michele was being beaten by the agents. He was an athlete, in excellent physical and health condition. Two things are indisputable: my son died while in police custody and was not taken to the hospital, but straight to the morgue."

Spanish authorities have launched an official investigation, and an autopsy has been performed, the results of which are expected to shed light on the true causes of death. Some of those present at the party have claimed that Noschese was raped without cause by the police, and their testimony has been included in the criminal complaint filed by his father.

The Italian embassy in Spain is also closely following developments in the case.

There have also been political reactions, with MEP Fulvio Martusciello, secretary of Forza Italia in Campania, saying:

"We want the truth about the death of Michele Noschese. We need to know what happened and who is responsible for this loss. We cannot allow the death of a successful and beloved young man like Michele to remain in the dark."

The event continues to shock Italy and the international artistic community, while public opinion demands transparency and justice for a death that raises many questions.
