Although the socialists are the ones filling the ballot boxes, Edi Rama continues to hire people from the DP and LSI. After appointing Basha's loyalist as head of the FSDKSH, Rama appointed Silva Caka as deputy interior minister.
Undoubtedly, her name brought a lot of reactions, since until yesterday she was a fanatic of Ilir Meta, but power seduces.
Silva is actually not the only one, since Edi Rama has taken on her MPs and figures since 2017, when the great war with LSI began.
Among the first to go through it were Alqi Bllako and Lefter Koka; both became "scapegoats" for the incinerator affair. One minister and the other Secretary General are in prison today.
Rama also took Nasip Naço from Ilir Meta. The latter ran in Berat for the SP in 2021 and became an MP. Rama rewarded him and made him head of the Security Commission. But this time Rama threw him away "like a squeezed lemon", not running him in the elections at all and not giving him any kind of position.
He even brought with him the other Berat MP, Gledion Rehovica. But the latter did not last long either. Today he has been forgotten. Another MP that Rama took was Shkëlqim Selami. He appeared several times alongside Rama, but then disappeared. The same thing with Spartak Braho. Rama made him an MP and gave him the Security Commission, but then there was a clash between them over employment issues in Durrës and Braho is today a big critic of Rama.
Another name is Agron Çela. He is known in the Shkodra area for his financial aspect and Rama needed a figure who had money, since in 2021 he wanted to dominate Shkodra. Now Çela no longer has any connection with politics and the SP.
But as he took the old LSI figures out of the game, Rama continued his recruitment. The next one was Vangjel Tavo, whom he made prefect of Vlora and then mayor of Himara. His approach was strategic, since Rama wanted a "Greek" to replace Beleri.
In the elections, Endrit Brahimllari was brought forward, who did not have much weight. Rama apparently brought him forward to attack Meta, who was betrayed in SPAK by Endrit. Klevi Pojana also passed, but he, like Brahimllari, offered himself more to the SP.
The latest name that Rama kidnapped is Silva Caka. The latter has not appeared on the public scene for about a year, but it seems that she has been playing behind the scenes.
