The Legal Affairs Committee of the Tirana Municipal Council cleared the way for Erion Veliaj's dismissal from the position of Mayor.
The commission formalized the request signed by the socialist councilors, according to whom Veliaj should be dismissed as Mayor, as he has not shown up for duty for more than 3 months.
The draft decision has been forwarded to the Municipal Council, which will meet at 4:00 PM to formalize, perhaps with a unanimous vote, the dismissal of the elected Mayor, Erion Veliaj.
But who were the socialist advisors, members of the Laws Committee, who voted in favor of the request for Veliaj's dismissal?
It is learned that they are: Xhilda Kito, Halit Valteri, Endrit Brahimllari, Agim Kraja, Sonila Qato.
Meanwhile, the only councilor who did not vote was the one from the Democratic Persuasion, Fabian Topollari.
