After refusing to give him the mandate, tensions begin between Shabani and

After the statement of the leader of "Albania Becomes", Adratik Lapaj, that "before the elections there was an approach that cohesion, a fusion into one, could occur", the leader of "Nisma Thurje" Endrit Shabani reacted.

Shabani claims that this has not been discussed yet, while stating that Adriatik Lapaj is free to return to 'Nisma Thurje', where he began his political activity.

"The Nisma Thurje was a civil society organization that we started together with Mr. Lapaj and other actors. In 2021 we were founded as a party and we intend to continue as a political party. But, of course, Adriatiku is free at any time to return to the Nisma Thurje because, after all, this is his home ," Shabani told "A2 CNN".

With the elections over, instead of merging the two parties into one, Shabani believes that there should be negotiations on continuing cooperation for the next elections as a coalition. So, the leader of the "Nisma Thurje" has rejected merging into one party.

"The coalition was built to be long-term, but the agreement was until May 11th and we are trying to continue the cooperation between the Weaving Initiative, Albania Is Made and other actors for the upcoming elections," he said.

An issue that continues to remain pending is the division of the Tirana mandate between the candidates of the Albania Is Done Initiative, but for Shabani this can now only be resolved by the CEC: "It is a process that must be seen by the CEC, we have had a commitment that all those who were on the closed list will have to submit their resignations. Which was done on election day, they were deposited with the CEC and it remains for the CEC to verify the documentation and then move on to the open list."

Regarding the vote recount process in Tirana that has now been concluded, the head of Nisma Thurje emphasizes that there have never been any allegations that votes could be stolen from the ballot boxes.

"We have never had any allegations that the votes cast for us were modified at the ballot box. The recount confirmed this ," he concluded.
