Ilir Alimehmeti speaks about Berisha's departure after the DP's defeat

Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti, the candidate for deputy in the Tirana District, when asked whether Berisha should step down from the party leadership after losing the elections, did not rule out such a thing.

Alimehmeti stated that once the vote appeals process is complete, an analysis of the elections should be conducted within the DP and then decisions should be made regarding those responsible.

"Absolutely, the analysis must be done. You have an Assembly in December 2023 where I have requested an analysis of the local elections, which was not done. The analysis must be done and I stand by this."
