Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group at the Brigades Palace, once again focused on the protests regarding the project in the Zvërnec area.
In his speech, Rama stated that the country has been involved in a wave of reactions and discussions that, according to him, have taken on large proportions on social networks and in public opinion, describing the situation as a "digital cyclone" that has exceeded the borders of Albania.
"20 days ago, Albania became the eye of a digital cyclone. A vortex larger than the size of our country...," Rama said, ironically mocking the reactions to the project and the protests that have accompanied it.
Njerezit nuk duhet te merziten dhe as te presin qe me proteste paqesore Rama te dorezoje pushtetin qe i buron dhjetera miliona euro pasuri ne muaj. Kush do e bente nga ju, askush. Askush nuk do e conte ne mendje realisht. Ndaj Rama ka punen e vet ne si popull duhet te kemi punen tone. Ose pas gjithe ketyre skandaleve pas ketyre aferave, pas gjithe ketyre turpeve, pas gjithe ketyre mashtrimeve, propogande neveritjeje etj do rrime goje kycur dhe duar lidhur, ose duhet te perballemi si patriot si luan me kete sekt te qelbur te kalbur i cili eshte ilegjitim e si rrjedhoje nje tiger prej letre. Ndaj sit me shume se kure dhe me te vendosur se kurre ne 19.00. Re shpetojme Shqiperine nga kjo qete hajnash qe e kane kap prej fyti e nuk e leshojne.
