The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted after Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements at the SP Parliamentary Group meeting, where the latter denied having ever been to Aruba and described the accusations leveled against him as products of an "algorithm".
Bardhi has published a part of the SPAK file, where he writes that the data on meetings held in Aruba does not come from social networks, but from wiretaps by Belgian law enforcement authorities.
According to Bardhi, the materials included in the file mention meetings of the persons under investigation in various countries, including Aruba, as well as contacts with senior Albanian state officials. The Democrat MP states that these meetings are related to real estate projects in Albania, which may have been financed with illegal funds.
"Edi Rama's misfortune in this case is that the evidence is not an algorithm, but reality," Bardhi writes in his reaction.
Gazment Bardhi's full post:
Edi Rama declared today that: "In the meantime, Aruba has become true. It has been brought out in this field of algorithm. Just as it has become true that I am a cocaine consumer."
"In fact, 'Aruba' is a truth that screams and that Edi Rama cannot hide with jokes!"
The data in the SPAK file was not taken from the field of algorithms, but from official interceptions by Belgian law enforcement authorities!
According to SPAK, these intercepts resulted in: "The summary sent by the Belgian authorities reveals important data on meetings and acquaintances between the persons under investigation, meetings held in Majorca, Germany, Aruba or Belgium; data on meetings held by them with representatives, high-ranking state officials of the Albanian state in Aruba. We mention here the meetings observed in January-February 2019. According to the partial evidence presented, these meetings appear to be related to real estate projects in Albania, potentially financed with illegal funds, with the support of political authorities."
Edi Rama's misfortune in this case is that the evidence is not an algorithm, but reality! No matter how much you twist it, it's there: with videos and photos!
The criminalization of the economy and the transformation of Albania into a haven for drug money laundering are his work. Sooner or later he will be held accountable for this.
