DP leader Sali Berisha, in a press conference, did not accept defeat and continued the accusations of election manipulation.
He addressed the media, telling them to replace the word "election" with "election farce".
"International laws, the Copenhagen Charter for Free Elections, the country's constitution and the Electoral Code require that an electoral process be conducted in accordance with the provisions of these laws, principles, otherwise it is not an electoral process but an electoral farce. Therefore, I also ask for the understanding of the media, to remove the word elections from their vocabulary and replace it with the word electoral farce. This is because these elections, in these elections, the most fundamental principles of fair elections for which Albania has signed the Copenhagen document were violated. Albania has embodied the principles of this document in the constitution and electoral code. What happened on May 11 and the entire preceding period, a complete reversal of the most fundamental principles of free elections, which require voters to freely express their opinion to the representatives of the elections. It has now become known that the control of the will of the voters was multifaceted and widespread throughout the country," Berisha said.
