The well-known Albanian comedy actor, Edmond Halili, spoke to the media today after paying tribute to his colleague, the famous actor Zef Deda.
"Very big loss. Albanian humor is dead, for me. Zef Deda has been a miracle of Albanian humor.
It is a great loss for the city of Shkodra, it is not discussed, but for the whole of Albania that Zef Dede is no longer a mother. Ishalla, after 50 years, someone else is coming out." he said.
Halil recounted how on the day Zef Deda passed away, he had set out to meet him.
"He broke my legs. I met Zefi's wife today, she told me: Mondi, you've been talking about it, why isn't Mondi coming to meet me. It would have been better if he hadn't said those words to me, because he broke my legs", said Halili.
Shkodra says goodbye today to the man who gave him so many smiles even in difficult years.
From 09:00, the "Migjeni" Theater opened its doors to welcome friends, relatives, actors and art lovers who want to pay their last respects to the actor who was awarded the title "Great Master" Zef Deda.
