
The well-known comedian Zef Deda passed away today, at the age of 73.
The artist had been suffering from a serious illness for a long time.
Deda passed away in Shkodër, while it is expected that the escorting ceremony to the last residence will take place tomorrow, Saturday, when the tributes will also be held at the Migjeni theater.
The news about the loss of the actor was made known by his son, Julian Deda, who published a black ribbon on his Instagram profile and the condolences started immediately.
Zef Deda is one of the best comedians in Albania, also known as the Charlie Chaplin of Albania. He was born in Shkodër on July 27, 1950. He was educated in his hometown, and at the construction polytechnic in Tirana. He starts high school for language and literature, but cannot finish it due to health reasons.
He worked for more than 40 years at the Migjeni Theater in Shkodra. His talent stood out from an early age. With dexterity and an excellent psycho-physical plasticity, he manages to create hundreds of artistic figures, where he stood out with the famous character 'Brother-in-law Xhemal'.
That is why he is so loved by the Albanian public, especially Shkodran. After a break of 6 years, due to emigration abroad, he returned in 1996 to Albania to practice the profession of actor, which he continues with great success.
Zef Deda is married to Rozina Deda and has two sons: Julian Deda and Marjan Deda. Zef Deda has also interpreted many comedies such as: "Brother from father", "Kollovari", "Big Brother Shkodra 1", "Big Brother Shkodra 2", etc.
