New details come to light regarding the murder of the Greek owner and Albanian worker at a campsite in Finikounta.
According to investigations by Greek authorities, arrest warrants have been issued for two women and a 30-year-old man. Authorities are examining all leads and are trying to connect the two women and the 30-year-old man with the 68-year-old grandson of the campsite owner, in order to complete the picture of the events that led to the double murder.
According to Greek TV MEGA, the investigator in the case is also examining two other people to determine whether they had knowledge of or helped organize the crime, while more arrests are expected in the coming days.
In addition to the victim's nephew and the businessman from Athens who have been arrested, an arrest warrant has also been issued for another 30-year-old man, the businessman's partner, who is suspected of having played the role of an accomplice in the crime.
It is suspected that the young man gave instructions to the two 22-year-old perpetrators before and after the execution, where they communicated with Pakistani phone numbers.
His involvement in their transport is also being investigated, as the white scooter used in the crime is suspected to have been taken on a road near his apartment. Investigative sources indicate that the 30-year-old, the son of a well-known businessman, is believed to be abroad in Germany and an international arrest warrant is expected to be issued.
"The killers' diabolical plan"
It was the granddaughter of the 68-year-old owner of the campsite, who spoke about a "diabolical plan" prepared as early as August 2024.
Her statement comes shortly after the arrest of the victim's 33-year-old nephew and a 31-year-old businessman, his friend and employer of the two 22-year-old perpetrators.
Amalia Tomara, speaking to Greek television Alpha, stated that her cousin displayed arrogant behavior after the double murder, which raised serious doubts about his involvement in the crime. She emphasized that the plan was not drawn up in recent months, but from the moment a document for the property was signed, in August 2024.
According to her, the 33-year-old, who is expected to testify on Monday, acted as if he had "conquered the world," while a certain episode convinced her that he was involved in the events.
She also added that her uncle had twice asked the businessman to leave him, raising questions about the close relationship between them.
Regarding the 33-year-old's mother, the victim's niece stated that the latter had banned them from entering the campsite for years and asked them not to make the matter public. According to her, the suspect's mother also attempted to implicate her son in order to exclude the family from the inheritance and isolate the victim.
