A serious incident occurred overnight at the exit of Fushë Krujë, where an 18-year-old was seriously injured after a road accident. The victim, Irdi Laçi, was stopped in the middle of the road after his vehicle suddenly turned off. He was trying to restart the car when another vehicle hit him at speed.
Sources from the scene indicate that the collision was severe, while the young man was immediately transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where he is in critical condition. The identity of the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident has not yet been made public.
Police have launched investigations to uncover the full dynamics of the accident and to determine whether there were any violations of road traffic rules.
