A 37-year-old man has been arrested by the police after being accused of several cases of burglary in the capital.
According to the official announcement, Ndriçim Koka, 37 years old, a resident of Tirana, has been arrested, who was previously convicted in Greece for theft.
Investigations showed that the 37-year-old, on November 8, 2025, stole 12 million lek from an apartment on "Artan Lenja" Street. Also, on October 19, 2025, he committed another burglary at a kiosk on "Muhamet Gjollesha" Street, where he took products worth about 50 thousand lek.
"Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Saga" is finalized. 5 days ago, the 37-year-old who stole 12 million lek from an apartment, previously convicted in Greece for the same crime, is identified and arrested.
Investigations revealed that this citizen committed a burglary on October 19, while checks revealed that he was carrying a quantity of Cannabis in his apartment.
The hard object used by the 37-year-old for the burglaries, clothing he wore during these incidents, as well as a quantity of narcotics, were seized.
As a result of intensive investigations conducted with the aim of uncovering the thefts and identifying and bringing their perpetrators to justice, the services of Police Commissariat No. 2 finalized the "Saga" operation, within the framework of which citizen NK, 37 years old, resident of Tirana, was arrested and put in handcuffs.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen:
-on 08.11.2025, he stole 12 million lekë, in an apartment on "Artan Lenja" street;
-on 19.10.2025, he stole products worth about 50,000 lekë, in a kiosk on "Muhamet Gjollesha" street.
"Work is underway to uncover other thefts that citizen NK may have committed. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
