A suspected gang that has committed dozens of thefts in the hills of Turin, Italy, has been identified and police announced the completion of investigations into eight people, almost all of Albanian origin and some already in prison in Turin for other crimes.
They will have to answer for criminal collaboration aimed at committing burglaries and receiving stolen goods. The eight are accused of 68 episodes, and others are being examined by investigators, committed between January 2024 and March 2025.
The gang had a hierarchical structure, with the availability of cover cars registered in the names of other people to be able to move around and capable associates to store the stolen goods.
During one of the recent robberies, part of the gang was caught and arrested by the Carabinieri of the Chieri company.
