A 25-year-old man accused of attempted murder has been extradited from Spain.
The young man Sorel Cenaj was declared an international wanted person after the Court of Kukes imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him, for the criminal offenses "Murder committed by exceeding the limits of necessary defense", attempted murder and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".
He is accused of having attempted to kill the citizen with the initials AE in 2023, in a bar in neighborhood no. 5 of Kukës, by hitting him with a cutting tool.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Kukes assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Murder committed by exceeding the limits of necessary defense", remaining in attempt and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons".
According to the police, the 25-year-old is suspected of having attempted to kill another citizen by hitting him with a cutting tool in a bar in neighborhood no. 5, Kukës, the police announced.
