In the hope of finding the car, Tirana police blocked many video footages. Only one of the cameras seized by the police captured Betim... approaching in a Toyota car, very similar to the one used in the double murder.
The film images were captured a few days before the assassination, which shows that the car used in the murder was moving between the Rinas and Fushë-Krujë areas.
The person, Betim, was captured on video approaching this car and handing over several packs of cigarettes to the people inside. This image led the Tirana police to escort and question this person a few days ago.
During his testimony, Betimi said he did not remember the moment. But when he was shown the footage, he said he gave packs of cigarettes to the people inside the Toyota, which was very similar to the one used in the murder.
Betimi claimed to the police that he was unable to recall the images of the people he had seen inside the car. He did not do this even when the police showed him several photographs of the people suspected of participating in this serious incident.
