A 37-year-old man from Elbasan has been arrested after being caught transporting Palestinian immigrants in a vehicle for profit, with the aim of illegally crossing the border.
This citizen was caught red-handed by the Elbasan Police services, on the "Librazhd-Elbasan" road axis, transporting 3 immigrants from Palestine by vehicle, for profit, with the aim of illegally crossing the border.

The Illegal Trafficking Investigation Section of the Elbasan DVP, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Eagle" and the Road Police services, in continuation of the work to crack down on the criminal activity of providing assistance to foreign citizens, for profit, for illegal border crossing, and supported by intelligence, have finalized the police operation codenamed "Axis", as a result of which the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
DB, 37 years old, resident of Tirana.
This citizen was caught red-handed by the Elbasan Police services, on the "Librazhd-Elbasan" road axis, transporting 3 immigrants from Palestine by vehicle, for profit, with the aim of illegally crossing the border.
The vehicle and 2 cell phones were seized as material evidence.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
