
SPAK has filed a complaint against the former Mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, who was investigated and tried in connection with property transfers in Livadha.
SPAK has requested Goro's sentence of 2 years in prison, but the former Mayor will only serve 1 year and 4 months, if the GJKKO decides, as he benefits from the shortened trial. Against Goro, SPAK filed charges of abuse of office more than once in connection with the alienation of land in the Livadha area with Arqile Bollanon as the beneficiary.
Meanwhile, for Vasillaq Strakosha, former director of property management at the Himara Municipality, SPAK has requested 1 year and 6 months, but with a shortened trial he will serve 1 year in prison, if the GJKKO decides.
Jorgo Goro, former Mayor of Himara Municipality, accused of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office", (more than once according to the criminal facts described in the indictment) committed in collaboration as provided for in Article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
Vasillaq Strakosha, former Director of the Directorate of Land Protection and Management at the Municipality of Himara, accused of committing the criminal offense of "Abuse of office", (more than once according to the criminal facts described in the indictment) committed in collaboration provided for by article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code (according to the criminal facts of criminal proceeding no. 298 of 2021 joined with criminal proceeding no. 127/2024.
