A 71-year-old woman, who allegedly attempted to rape an official, was arrested by police. The incident took place in Elbasan, while the elderly woman had with her an iron bar with which she attempted to hit an employee of an institution due to her duty, as well as a bottle filled with gasoline.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Elbasan Police Commissariat arrested citizen V. Sh., 71 years old, in flagrante delicto, after she attempted to hit an employee of an institution with an iron bar, due to her duty. During the search of her bag, a plastic bottle filled with gasoline was found, which was seized as material evidence," the police announced.
