Martin Can's murder, video of the moment of the serious incident is

Footage from the moment of the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cani at Fan Noli School has been released.

In the footage provided by journalist Eraldo Harlicaj, Martini and Mario are clearly seen leading their friends and going to "explain" the scene where the murder took place.

In the following footage, just a few seconds later, Martini is seen running away, holding his hand to his chest after being shot. Then there is Mario Përlleshaj, holding only a knife and running for a few seconds only to return again, after he has dropped his shoe at the crime scene and goes to retrieve it.

Journalist Harlicaj further emphasizes that referring to the statements in court, according to the minors, it was one of the other boys who first hit Mario in the nose. Then the fight escalated, taking the life of Martin and injuring Luis. Luis, in the court session, maintains the idea that there were two people who stabbed him, requesting a reinvestigation of the entire incident. Mario's lawyer also supported Luis's statement, raising an alibi that he was not the person who shot Martin.

"Questions of the Martin Can case, video of the day of the event"

When I got my hands on Martin Can's file with the complete film materials a month ago, I had many doubts about publishing them. The May 11 elections took my mind off things for a while. I had and still have questions about whether I was doing the right thing or the wrong thing.

However, there are some uncertainties that "push" me to publish the materials. The actions of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office in sending the case to trial without an in-depth investigation, but also the statements of the children in the closed-door sessions.

In the video, Martini and Mario are clearly seen leading their friends and going to the scene to "explain" the incident. Followed by their identified friends. At the moment of the conversation between them, according to the statements in court, it was one of the other boys, not Martini, who first hit Mario in the nose. Then the fight escalated, taking Martini's life and injuring Luis. The tragedy occurred in less than 1 minute.

In the footage, as they flee, only a knife is seen in Mario's hand and Martini runs with his hand on his chest. Mario then returns to the crime scene, after dropping his shoe and going to retrieve it, is met by two other boys who are there.

Luis, Martin's injured friend, showed his wounds to the judges and prosecutor Alma Felaj during the court session. He maintains that there were two people who stabbed him, requesting a reinvestigation.

Also, the lawyer of Mario, the suspected perpetrator, has supported Luis's statement, raising an alibi that he was not the person who shot Martin. He admits that he used the knife, but wounded Luis. So, Luis and Mario claim that a third person also shot him with the knife. Mario's side claims that he is not the murderer.

Who is the third person who is being kept hidden from everyone? Is there really a third person who hit? How is it possible that the witnesses changed their statements in court different from the answers they gave to the prosecutor and after being questioned several times by Alma Felaj? Who is the adult who slapped Martin on Friday, in the fight he had with Marion? Who are the boys who waited for Marion and the friend who accompanied him to the private hospital, where he is seen with a wound on his hand.

Judge Marinela Osmani decided to reinvestigate the incident, after incomplete documentation from the Prosecution. She found the witness statements very important for uncovering the truth.
Mario has not yet testified. The next hearing is on Wednesday, where the adult who slapped Martin on Friday will be summoned to court. Meanwhile, for other answers from the fight at school to his arrival at the hospital, you should wait for Wednesday's Top Story - Top Channel," writes journalist Eraldo Harlicaj.
