The Lezha Court has ordered the security measure "Arrest in prison" for 28-year-old Amadeo Fufi, arrested a few days ago in Mamurras during a police operation conducted on May 19. According to the authorities, he was accompanying a wanted person and attempted to flee, endangering police officers.
During the hearing to assess the security measure, Judge Delvijot Lusha deemed the arrest lawful and accepted the prosecution's request to impose the measure "Arrest in prison".
The 28-year-old is accused of the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", as well as "Opposition of a State Police officer".
Meanwhile, the security measure for the other young man, Leonard Dema, has been carried out at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where he continues to receive medical treatment after being injured during the police intervention.
The court imposed the measure "Arrest in prison" against him with the aim of extradition to Italy. According to the authorities, he was convicted by the Court of Trento for the criminal offense of "Attempted murder", provided for in the Italian Criminal Code.
