Gilmando Dani, 47, was executed in a mafia assassination attempt on Tuesday afternoon, while he was in a Mercedes C-Class vehicle, which was shot at by a Toyota vehicle with foreign license plates, which was found burned moments after the crime.
Dani was a passenger in the vehicle where 40-year-old Muçi Shaljani (Sheqeri), who turned out to be an agent of the Police Surveillance Agency, was injured.
The police have not been able to identify the perpetrators of the crime, while security cameras are expected to shed more light on the incident.
Meanwhile, on the show "In Real Time" on RTSH, the last photo of Gilmando Dani was published.
The image, seized as part of the victim's documentation, shows noticeable changes in his portrait compared to previous photos.
