The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime sentenced Samir Rodriguez, known as the chemist of the drug laboratory discovered in Frakull, Fier, to 14 years in prison this Tuesday (June 30).

Rodriguez has been sentenced in absentia, while Albanian authorities await his extradition.

According to the decision of the Criminal Court of Kosovo, Samir Rosales Rodriguez was found guilty of the criminal offenses of "narcotics trafficking", committed in collaboration in the special form of a structured criminal group, "structured criminal group", as well as "committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group".

Previously, for the drug laboratory case in Frakull, the former socialist mayor of Frakull, Viktor Cervanaku, his son Denilson Cervanaku, his brother Zenel Cervanaku, as well as Nikolin Gjolena, Klajdi Vrioni, Redion Meshi, Enxhi Ferhati, Marildo Rama, Bledar Matoshi and Julian Malaj were sentenced to a total of 89 years in prison.
