A road accident occurred this afternoon on the Fier-Levan road, near the area known as "Qafa e Kosovicës", leaving two people injured.
It is reported that two vehicles collided with each other under circumstances that have not yet been clarified. As a result of the strong impact, both drivers were injured.
The injured were urgently transported to the Fier Regional Hospital, where they are receiving the necessary medical assistance. So far, there is no official data on their health condition.
Immediately after the accident, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, and are working to clarify the causes of the accident, while measures are also being taken to normalize traffic on this road segment.
The Fier-Levan axis has been considered for years one of the most problematic segments for road accidents, especially during the summer season, when the flow of vehicles increases significantly.
