A tragedy occurred this Monday in Mirdita, where a 45-year-old man from Durres lost his life after being electrocuted while trying to repair a defect in the electrical network.
The serious incident was recorded in the village of Perlat i Epërm. According to preliminary data, the 45-year-old man had gone to his wife's family's apartment and allegedly climbed an electric pole near his father-in-law's house to fix the power supply.
During the intervention, he came into contact with electricity and as a result, he died on the spot.
Immediately after the incident, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, and they have begun actions to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of this tragic accident.
