A 49-year-old man was arrested on Sunday by police in Fier after threatening his wife with a firearm. The arrested man has been identified as IB, 49, a resident of Fier.
During the search of the apartment, a quantity of ammunition was found and seized from the 49-year-old. The police have escorted the arrested man to the police station, while they are investigating the case further.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Fier Police Commissariat arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen IB, 49 years old, resident of Fier, after he is suspected of having threatened his wife with the shotgun owned by his father. During the search of the apartment, a quantity of combat cartridges were found and seized from the 49-year-old. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action," the police announced today.
