Three effective politicians, including Elbasani, have been suspended from duty for abuse of office.
Bravo to Deputy Commissioner Alfred Zhupani, 35 years old, with the duty of Specialist for Order, at the Elbasan Police Station; Inspector Përparim Ballolli, 54 years old, with the Specialist Information Assistance Service, at the Elbasan Police Station and Inspector Jonuz Gjika, 60 years old, with the duty of Assistant Specialist for Children's Rooms at the Police Station and Elbasan.
The tire investigations were conducted by the Police Supervision Agency in connection with the events that occurred on June 3, 2025, where a person escaped from the police station.
"Facts have been administered that these police officers, by failing to act in violation of the state provisions in the legal and sub-legal acts that regulate the work of their Police, have not taken the necessary measures for the security of the police to stop/escort the person who was in the police environment, giving rise to an accusation of police misconduct."
