A 43-year-old Montenegrin man with social danger has been arrested in Spain after being wanted by authorities in Podgorica for participating in a criminal group.
His capture was made possible thanks to information provided by FAST Albania and its real-time exchange with counterparts in Montenegro and Spain.
The Podgorica court had imposed the security measure 'prison arrest' on the 43-year-old in April 2025 for involvement in criminal activities within a structured criminal group.
"FAST Albania contributes to another important international operation, coordinated by the ENFAST network.
Thanks to the information provided by FAST Albania and its real-time exchange with counterparts, it became possible for the Spanish Police to capture a Montenegrin citizen with high social risk.
Citizen DF, 43 years old, wanted by Montenegrin authorities for participation in a criminal organization with activities in the field of narcotics, was arrested in Spain by the police authorities of this country.
His capture was made possible as a result of close cooperation between FAST Albania, FAST Spain and FAST Montenegro, through the European cooperation network ENFAST.
The Podgorica Court had assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" to citizen DF in April 2025, for strong suspicions of involvement in criminal activities within a structured criminal group, the police announced.
