
A 48-year-old man from Tepelena, sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison for "narcotics trafficking", has been arrested by Greek police at Athens' "Eleftheros Venizelos" Airport.
Ardian Gerbi from Bënca e Tepelena was detained at noon on November 29, but the Greek police announced the news of his arrest today.
According to the Greek police, it turns out that in 2008, Gërbi sold 3 kg of marijuana and 290 grams of cocaine to another person. Ardian Gërbi was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison, and extradition proceedings have been initiated against him to Albania.
