Taulant Balla, head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, reacted on social media after the tense protest in front of the Parliament, where there were clashes between protesters and police forces, as well as the escort of Dritan Goxhaj.
A video published by him shows the moments of the clash, while the message is placed above the footage: "The terrorist line linked to Iran attacks the State Police and institutions."
According to Balla, the protest was initially organized peacefully by young people committed to protecting flamingos, but was later influenced by an act of violence and ended in serious clashes.
He stated that Dritan Goxhaj, together with persons he described as criminal elements, participated in attacks on the State Police and democratic institutions.
In his reaction, Balla repeated the claim of Iranian interference in the protest developments and said that, according to him, the facts are rejecting the doubts expressed regarding this claim.
" Oops, the conversation has come to a head. What started as a peaceful protest by some boys and girls who love flamingos, and then was fueled by a reprehensible act of violence, has today degraded into a barbaric display of the terrorist and criminal line there."
Dritan Goxhaj and criminal elements involved in the protest today attacked the State Police and democratically elected institutions.
"And whoever jokes about Iran's aggressive intervention in this protest is feeling very ashamed as the truth is coming out, as this whole fog of digital hysteria is dissipating ," Balla writes.
