This is 27-year-old Sulo Astrit Halili from Becishti, Tepelena, who has been missing since the afternoon of November 4. He had left his apartment in Halkida and has not shown any signs of life since that day, while his vehicle was found abandoned in Vilia, Athens.
Halili has short dark brown hair, brown eyes, is 1.70 m tall and is thin. He has a beard and a tattoo on his left arm of two roses, a star and letters. On the day he disappeared, he was wearing a black shirt, black cargo jeans and white sneakers.
An autopsy on a body found burned in a vehicle on Friday revealed that the victim had been shot once and then burned. He was found handcuffed in the back seat of a stolen vehicle in Glyfada and with the license plates of a similar vehicle in Katerini.
Police suspect the victim may have been involved in criminal activity or was found in the wrong place at the wrong time. DNA tests are pending to confirm his identity.
Greek media write that the manner of the act, with a car stolen a few months ago, which even had license plates that correspond to a vehicle of the same make and color from Katerini, the fact that the victim was handcuffed and tied behind his back, and now the element of shooting, all point to an execution by professionals. It was most likely a death contract.
Meanwhile, there is also evidence that the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime had knowledge of the area, as the deserted location combined with the only escape route indicates that they did not arrive there by chance.
