The repentant Skerdi Tase, in his testimony before the Criminal Court, says that after the failure of the second assassination attempt on Aredin Behari in 2019, he fled to Germany.
He then said that he returned after a year, during which time four murders had been committed in Durrës. He also revealed a conversation with Henrik Hoxhaj, who told him why he had left because if he had been in Albania he would have made money from these events.
Further, Skerdi Tase said that Henkrik Hoxhaj referred to Nuredin Dumani as 'kusho' and that they had received orders to kill Talo Çela's brother, Bujar Çela. According to Tase, they did not want to kill Bujar Çela and that Nuredin Dumani had understood this.
"After the second assassination attempt on Aredin Behari, I went to Germany for a few months. I met Henriku in 2020, when he had also contacted Nuredin Dumani. Henriku told me, 'You saw the 4 murders in Durrës, I also participated, why did you leave because you would have received some money?' Henriku was worried that something might come out about the murders, especially among the Haxhia brothers, since the blood trail he had left in the car might come out. Later, I learned that the 'spouse' Henriku was referring to was Nuredin Dumani.
"I was initially offered to participate in the murder of Talo Çela's brother, Bujar Çela, they took 5 thousand euros as a deposit somewhere in a village in Peqin. They showed us the car Bujar Çela was driving, but we didn't want to kill him, even when we saw him we ignored him. Nuredin understood then," said Tase.
