From bartender to television technician, how Skerdi Tase became a hired killer;

Skerdi Tase has given his testimony at the Criminal Court of Kosovo, within the framework of the process known as the 'golden bullet', while revealing details regarding Viron Tavanxhiu, who at the time of the assassination of Aredin Behari in 2017, was wanted for a murder in Italy.

He says that even though he was wanted by Interpol, he wasn't too careful because he had contacts in the police.

"I worked as a bartender in a bar in Fier and then I also worked as a technician on television, also in Fier, for 1 year. The friends I had were bartenders and waiters.

Armando Mita was one of them. I had childhood friends, I grew up with them. After the assassination attempt on Aredin Behari, we argued with Henriku, because the person who had ordered it had been called to the police. Henriku told me what he had to do when we couldn't do it.

His name was Albert Pashaj, as we learned later, which I didn't know at the time. Henrik had been asked about this. He had told the person who was assassinated what he suspected.

I met Henrik almost every day. Until that moment, I didn't know anything about Henrik, Vironi had told me that he deals with assassinations.

Vironi was wanted for murder in Italy at the time. I knew he was involved in prostitution and drugs. Vironi, even though he was wanted by Interpol, was not very careful because he had his own acquaintances in the state police, who would inform him. We would meet Vironi at Gent Xhaferri's bar.

Vironi wanted to meet me, until 2016 I was in Italy, it was hashish time and Vironi wanted me.

I stayed somewhere around 3-4 months in Italy. I didn't do any work there. I was at a friend's place. Vironi was looking for contact at my house. I went to do the paperwork but I couldn't do it. I came back to find that Vironi had gone to my house and asked me to help him with a job.

When I returned, he told me to help him because he had planted hashish.

I remember that Henriku had received orders from a person named Renato Salihu. Henriku kept in touch with Tarjo and Renato. I was not with these people, but I have heard of them.

Henrik Hoxha was always armed, we drank alcohol with him, we met often, sometimes he would open the car window and shoot in the air, I saw him shooting, I don't remember ever shooting in his presence.

"Henrik wanted to test me to see if I was capable of committing murder before we went to Agim Boriçi. We had agreed that if necessary, Henrik would be ready to kill Aredin Behar, even if we were shooting from car to car," he said.
