"Why did you take it on when you couldn't do it yourself?",

Justice associate Skerdi Tase testified today for the first time at the Criminal Court of Kosovo regarding the Golden Bullet case and the attempted murder of Aredin Behari in 2017.

Tase told how he fired a volley of shots to kill Behar, while the latter ducked under a table to escape the bullets. He then fled the scene and said he threw the gun into the Gjanica River.

But, while Behar escaped the assassination attempt, Tase recounts the confrontation with Henrik Hoxhaj, who shouted at him why the assassination was not carried out.

"I fired a volley to kill Aredin Behari, he got under a table, I thought he was hit by bullets, then I left to wait for "Riku" 100 meters away, I thought I had killed him, we crossed the Gjanica River where we also threw the 'scorpion' weapon. We argued with Henriku that the murder was not committed, he told me why he took it upon himself when he could not do it, since Aredin had told the police the name of the person who ordered it. Henriku was questioned by the police, and he told me that the name of the person who ordered it had come up (referring to Albert Pashaj) ," Tase testified.
