A 43-year-old man has been arrested by the Shqiponja forces in Lezha, accused of distributing narcotics.
According to the Police, the arrested person identified as Krenar Berisha, alias Krenar Shabani, had adapted the premises he had rented as an environment for the use, processing and concealment of narcotics with the aim of distributing them.
When the police noticed the 43-year-old, he attempted to escape on his bicycle and threw a bag into the Drin River. After a few minutes of pursuit and search, the police managed to catch the person and find the bag thrown into the river, inside which doses of cannabis ready for sale were found.
The checks continued at the bar he was using, where another hidden bag was found, containing hundreds of separate doses of the narcotic cannabis, ready for distribution.
