An explosives explosion occurred in the early hours of the morning at a restaurant in Kamëz.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 02:20 on Mother Teresa Boulevard, as the explosive material was placed outside the restaurant. As a result of the explosion, only material damage was caused.
It is reported that the explosion occurred in the "Perla e Detit" restaurant, from the back of the restaurant, owned by Klodjan Murati and Benard Elezit, brother-in-law. The amount that exploded was small, as several windows of the facade were broken. The cameras of the restaurant show the perpetrator approaching in a mask, leaving the explosive material and running away on foot.
The owners state that they have no conflicts with anyone and have no idea why the explosive was placed. Further investigations will reveal the incident, the perpetrator and the reasons for placing the TNT.
"Around 02:20, on "Mother Teresa" Boulevard, Kamëz, in the outdoor premises of a business owned by EU and KM citizens, a suspected amount of explosive material exploded. As a result, only material damage was caused.
"The investigation team is continuing its work to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), as well as to fully clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced.
