Erjon Alibej's testimony in the GJKKO/ The statement of prosecutor Behar

"...But how did you forget Asllan Plaku, you didn't mention him at all..."

This brief statement by SPAK representative, Behar Dibra, addressed to the justice associate, Erjon Alibej, brought an immediate reaction from the defendant Asllan Plaku and some of the lawyers who were present at yesterday's court session, in which the defendant Alibej's turn to testify before the court was.

Prosecutor Dibra's statement was considered irresponsible by the defense and defendant Plaku, who accused the prosecutor of illegally and unprofessionally privately directing the prosecution's co-worker, Erjon Alibej, to speak against Asllan Plaku.

The debate erupted when Alibej finished his account of the dynamics of the crime committed against the Haxhiaj brothers in Durrës. After this moment, Judge Engjëllueshe Tahiri ordered a few minutes' break for those present in the courtroom.

At this very moment, when the parties present in the courtroom were led to leave, Prosecutor Dibra addressed the prosecutor's penitent Erjon Alibej with the words: " ...How did you forget Asllan Plaku, you didn't mention him at all...".

This statement was heard by lawyers and defendants, including Asllan Plaku, who has exploded with accusations against prosecutor Behar Dibra, considering his behavior in the courtroom as unprofessional, irresponsible, unethical and not at all legal.

"...why did you talk to your collaborator about me, prosecutor, why did you tell him how you forgot Asllan Plaku, here. Let the prosecutor speak for himself, don't teach him, let him speak because he is an adult, he is his own master, he knows very well what he has done and who he has done it with, so don't talk to him about implicating Asllan Plaku in crimes that I have nothing to do with...", the defendant Asllan Plaku reacted from the glass cage.

But on the other hand, Behar Dibra insisted that he had not said anything to SPAK's collaborator, Erjon Alibej. Dibra tried to calm Asllan Plaku, who started shouting in court, along with the two other defendants from Fushë-Kruja, Besian Xhixha and Enver Diva.

The situation became even more heated when, during a break, prosecutor Behar Dibra went very close to the glass cage where the defendants were standing, engaging in a personal debate with the defendant Asllan Plaku and the lawyers present in court, in the hope of convincing Plaku that there was nothing intentional against him.

But, Asllan Plaku continued to oppose the prosecutor, saying that he had been in prison for 3 years without any evidence, only with a statement from Nuredin Dumani, and now, according to him, the prosecutor is also training the other defendant, Erjon Alibej, to testify against him in the murder of the two Haxhiaj brothers.

The parties engaged in statements and counter-statements, while Asllan Plaku claimed that the prosecutor's representative was leading him to life imprisonment, without any evidence, only with biased statements.

The old man warned the prosecutor that these actions would lead to self-justification, because according to him, one day he too would get out of prison and would not ask anyone about this injustice, because according to him, they were now trying to put him in enmity with people he had no connection to.

The old man decided to leave the courtroom in protest, but returned after the insistence of the defense lawyers in this trial.

In this process, Asllan Plaku is accused by the SPAK Special Prosecution Office of the criminal offense of "Murder under qualifying circumstances" to the detriment of two people killed in February 2020, Dorjan Shkoza and Anxhelo Avdija, "Structured Criminal Group" and "Committing criminal offenses within the framework of a structured criminal group"./Oranews
